Little Oak Tree adheres to a holistic approach of early childhood education. When we expose children to different environments and various learning experiences, we allow them to explore their self-awareness and gain a sense of the world around them. At Little Oak Tree, we aim for children to be fully prepared for the next stage of their young lives.

Holistic Learning
As times change, so do our approaches to teaching and learning. But one thing Little Oak Tree tend to keep consistent is the basics of education.
Teachers at Little Oak Tree are being encouraged to get back to basics by reducing paper work and focusing on what teachers do best, which is teaching with a holistic approach to support the early childhood development of our students.
PRE NURSERY
Socialising & Exploring
Young children often join the words “play” and “friend” together.
Our teachers at Little Oak Tree encourages socialising because social interaction helps young children develop and explore their sense of self, and also start to learn what others expect from them and to help them reach their developmental milestones.
NURSERY
Learning Through Play
Play allows children the opportunity to develop communication skills as well as to develop a deeper understanding of new learning concepts and to apply skills they have learnt into daily life applications.
At Little Oak Tee, the emphasis of learning through play is incorporated in our daily lessons in the areas of math, language and arts.
KINDERGARTEN 1 & 2
Higher Order Thinking Skills
Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) makes teaching and learning more engaging and more suited to the real world. HOTS adds intellectual rigor to any curriculum, and helps the development of important life skills in young learners.
Little Oak Tree's Junior Engineer Program is developed to enhance the Higher Order Thinking Skills of our students, as we know that these skills are the key to a child's future success.
